HOW IS WHEATGRASS SAFE FOR YOUR CAT?

Wheatgrass is not known to be toxic for your cat. In fact, it's also not toxic for smaller pets like bunnies, reptiles, guinea pigs, birds, etc... Bunnies have a feast with wheatgrass.

Wheatgrass is great to keep your cat away from your house plants. A little training may be required.

It's also the best alternative for pesticide-treated lawns. Some cats enjoy eating grass, but outdoor grass may not be the best. Your cat can be poisoned. It's also possible for them to pick up bacteria left behind by other critters.

WHEATGRASS FOR YOUR CAT'S HEALTH

Leafy greens can be what your cat needs. Wheatgrass is rich in healthy fibers, vitamins, nutrients, and digestive enzymes. It can be added as a supplement to your cat's lifestyle.

HOW TO PROPERLY

FEED WHEATGRASS TO YOUR CAT

Wheatgrass should be fed as a treat. Like any other supplement, wheatgrass should not be fed as a meal. Introduce wheatgrass to your cat gradually. Start small and give your cat frequent breaks. By giving your cat intervals you're helping their body get used to the wheatgrass. This also gives you a chance to monitor the body's response. Although wheatgrass is safe for your cat, some may be allergic to plants.

HOME-GROWN PET GRASS

VS. STORE BOUGHT PET GRASS

Is growing cat grass at home worth "the hassle"?

And I say "the hassle" because it really is not much of a hassle.

Preparing it takes about 5-10 minutes. Caring for it requires minimal watering. Within one week it's fully grown.

Therefore your cat's wheatgrass will be fresh and well taken care of. This will guarantee a high amount of nutrients and vitamins.

Unlike home-grown wheatgrass, store-bought wheatgrass can be days old. Plus, who knows where it's been? It may already be dead.
